Our Mission is accomplished through weekly support groups, community outreach programs, community networking organizations, on-on-one leadership development, and the after school S.A.Y. Yes! Youth Development Center.
We respond through direct services and referrals that positively impact the myriad social issues of the skid row community, including, but not limited to homelessness, substance abuse, broken relationships, non-marital pregnancy, prostitution, and child abuse. The men, women, and children of the Los Angeles Central City East are disenfranchised people, needing caring staff and volunteers who serve them on a daily basis.
Central City Community Outreach is uniquely positioned to confront the daily challenges of Skid Row Los Angeles, working collaboratively with Rescue Missions, Social Services agencies, as well as urban and suburban churches.
